ECF Coaching Apprenticeship.
With our ECF Coaching Apprenticeship qualification, we offer education professionals the opportunity to learn up-to-date, practical coaching skills, backed up by relevant research, in order to coach and assess early career teachers. Aligned with the Early Career Framework, the course develops the coaching and mentoring skills to support professional development within your school.
Predominantly online, the ECF Coaching Apprenticeship is particularly useful for those who want to hone their skills to actively listen, provide feedback and use coaching to develop performance.
Coaches are dual professionals who use their up-to-date professional knowledge and skills to support vocational and professional development across the education and training sector, or indeed in any employer setting, and at any level. The programme will deliver value to the school and, in turn, to its pupils. It can also be seen as a reward for those teachers being asked to coach and mentor their early career colleagues, as teachers undertaking the course will gain new professional skills.
Who is this course for?
This Apprenticeship Levy-funded course is especially suited to Early Career Mentors and ITT Leads who will be involved in facilitating the Early Career Framework and want to benefit from education-focused, practical training and a recognised qualification in this area.
It also allows coaches already within schools to gain a recognised qualification in coaching, mentoring and assessment.
