Employability skills

Enabling students to develop strong employability skills gives them the best possible chance for future success. Yet limited budgets and resources mean it’s often difficult for schools and colleges to support this learning.
That’s where BeReady comes in. We offer both online and in-classroom employability content at zero cost.
Teachers are empowered to provide training and guidance with minimum preparation time.
As a result, students are given the best possible advantage as they head into the world, regardless of their socio-economic background.
The skills young people need
It’s well understood that skills such as resilience, communication and self-confidence are vital for young people. Whether they choose to attend university, start work or secure an apprenticeship after school, these skills give a head start.
Our expertly-designed, accredited employability skills programme supports this learning by offering a free, bespoke website tailored to your school’s needs.
Online and in-classroom content
The programme includes interactive online micro-learning courses and ready-to-go downloadable resources for the classroom. These sit alongside labour market information and access to employer engagements – including events, insights, and interviews with partners.
Meet pupil, school and statutory requirements
Pupils receive personalised information and training based on their interests and aspirations. The secure system enables you to track student engagement, completion rates and outcomes.
BeReady perfectly complements the curriculum, fits with statutory requirements for careers advice and enables schools to meet all eight Gatsby Benchmarks.
Fully funded
By working in partnership with universities and employers, we’re able to provide our products to schools completely free.
