The effective delivery of employability skills provides every pupil with the best possible chance of a successful career. The greater the adoption and implementation of these skills, the more future prospects are enhanced, regardless of whether a school leaver goes on to attend university, start work or an apprenticeship.

At BeReady we believe that all pupils deserve this opportunity and that schools across the UK should be given as much support as possible to provide employability skills to their students. Limited budgets and resources create significant barriers to internal delivery, and this is where we step in.

Meeting Gatsby Benchmarks

The BeReady employability skills programme is a free, easy to implement solution that helps schools and colleges meet Gatsby Benchmarks.

Through an innovative suite of CPD accredited employability skills courses for both teachers and pupils, we cover core employability topics.

This essential life skills learning content perfectly complements the curriculum and is designed to unlock the potential in each learner, readying them for life beyond school.

Fully-funded flexible learning at zero cost

For each school or college to have to create their own lesson content to meet Gatsby Benchmarks would, of course, require a large investment of time and money.

Fortunately, we’ve done all the work for you by making our content available to all pupils, regardless of socio-economic background, we make future success an achievable possibility for all.

And it’s all completely free to schools. By working in partnership with universities and employers, we are able to provide our products at zero cost to your school.

Our adherence to the Gatsby Benchmarks

1
A stable careers programme

We offer schools and colleges a ready-made careers LMS which can be linked to your current website and integrated with SIMS. It tracks user progression, provides you with analytics and insights, and prompts students to undertake training.

2
Learning from career and labour market information

We provide links to the latest LMI feeds and live data for students to review. Our online training also features insights from companies including Facebook, Disney, LinkedIn, L’Oréal and Fujitsu.

3
Addressing the needs of each pupil

Each student has access to a user profile which they can customise to reflect their interests and training needs. We also provide a range of quizzes, polls and tests for students to undertake and evaluate their own strengths and weaknesses.

4
Linking curriculum learning to careers

Our one-page downloadable resources and CPD accredited lesson packs enable you to deliver training in the classroom which links careers to curriculum subjects.

5
Encounters with employers and employees

All of our training is written by industry experts and features interviews with a wide variety of organisations and sectors. We also offer employer links to partner schools and colleges in order to help you foster stronger relationships.

6
Experience of workplaces

All of our resources are delivered in partnership with local and nationwide employers offering work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.

7
Encounters with further and higher education

We provide students with a wealth of information relating to higher education including our #FirstYear online module, top tips from content partners and search feeds for university courses and open days.

8
Personal guidance

Schools and colleges are able to track user progression and success using our insights tools. Utilising these insights alongside our student user profile features, enables teachers to provide personal, tailored training.

BeReady is such an inspirational idea. Our bespoke website was carefully designed with great attention to detail and is an exciting addition to our CEIAG provision.
